I already have to dumb down my language quite a bit just to get by in my job. I can't start whipping out huge, multisyllabic words of foreign origin because no one there knows any of them. I figured that college students would be better able to understand such things, so I used the terms "Deus Ex Machina" and "Tabula Rasa" in English 50 today. ( Read more... )
